Description
Location. The Park Inn Munich Frankfurter Ring is located in Munich, Germany, in the city district of Schwabing. The hotel is 100 metres from Frankfurter Ring metro station on the U2 line, and eight kilometres from the centre of Munich. Hotel Features. The hotel is a modern tenement building with a bright coloured lobby. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel, and there is underground parking available at a daily rate.
The Park Inn has a bar and a conservatory buffet serving breakfast (surcharge), and there is also complimentary coffee and water in the lobby.
The Olympic Stadium and park are three kilometres away and offer many world class sporting facilities, including swimming, tennis courts and a gymnasium. The hotel can arrange tours of Castle Neuschwanstein or sightseeing in Munich.
Guestrooms. The 81 guestrooms of the Park Inn Munich Frankfurter Ring are colourfully furnished with armchairs and sofas, and have cable television, kitchenettes, coffee/tea makers and minibars.
Expert Tip. The Olympic Stadium hosted the 1972 Games and used to host Bayern Munich football club, who have now moved to the nearby Allianz Arena. As well as having many open sporting facilities, the stadium and park also host cultural events.

DirectionsFrom Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport (MUC): Distance to Park Inn Munich Frankfurter Ring is 31 kilometres, approximately 35 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The airport's train station is located between the two terminals on the basement level. The S8 and S1 S Bahn trains leave every 20 minutes for Munich's main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Journey time is about 45 minutes, and single tickets cost 8.80 EUR. Tickets must be validated prior to travelling. The Lufthansa Airport bus runs to the Hauptbahnhof every 20 minutes, and the single fare is 9.50 EUR. Taxis to the city centre cost around 55 EUR 65 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Much of Munich's city centre is pedestrianised and best explored on foot. The city's integrated public transport system includes buses, trams, S Bahn commuter trains, and U Bahn underground trains. Tickets cover all modes of public transport. Taxis wait at ranks around the city, but can be expensive. Trains run from the Hauptbahnhof to other German towns and the Bavarian countryside.
Driving directions. From the airport follow the signs freeway 'all directions/Freising'. Follow directions to Munich. At the junction Eching Ost follow direction 'Munich A9. At the interchange Neufahrn continue following directions for 'A9/Munich'. Leave the A9 at the exit Frankfurter/Föhringer Ring following the Frankfurter Ring. Continue straight on at the first traffic lights and over the bridge. The hotel on your left hand side.
